procuring a bathtub plug at a hardware store this morning was the most cosmically satisfying task i have completed in a long time.  first, i identified a mundane domestic deficiency. then, i fixed it. for under $5, and in under 10 minutes. i can now wholeheartedly say i have accomplished everything. because i am a genius.
